Canfor Website Re-design - canfor.com
The re-design of the Canfor website was the first step in brining a company with a rich history in Canada to the forefront of the lumber industry. As a modern company poised for growth, Canfor needed a fresh web presence with the aim of attracting new employees to operations all over BC, AB and the Southern US. Though shareholders and customers were also primary audiences, the main goal of the website was to draw people to the careers page. This goal has been achieved, the careers pages continue to be the top viewed of the site.
The design uses bold imagery and a unique take on a corporate site, relying heavily on landing pages for each section of the website. As Canfor has many stakeholders, this approach was taken to provide a home for each of these interested groups.
